Drawing is central to my practice, both in its own right and in underpinning my 3D work, while memory and loss have been recurring themes.
My fascination with thought processes results in attempts to make tangible some of the most fleeting or repressed-miniature worlds reflect interior landscapes.
Much of what I do is an exploration of fundamental aspects of what it is to be human.
At times the emotional tenor of my work can be quite ‘dark’, reflecting a childhood devouring fairytales, myth and legend. I lighten this with touches of humour and hope.
There is always hope.
